Important Notice for Sudanese Passport Holders
The visa section of the British Embassy in Khartoum is temporarily closed. Sudanese applicants must submit their application and complete biometrics at a Visa Application Centre in another country (such as Egypt). We help you identify the nearest available centre and coordinate the appointment.
Notice Regarding Student Visas
Effective 26 March 2026, UK authorities began refusing Student visa applications submitted by Sudanese nationals specifically. To avoid wasted time and fees, we are currently unable to offer processing assistance for this visa category to Sudanese passport holders.
Available Visa Types
All other visa categories (Visit, Business, Transit, and others) remain available through the standard process (online application + biometrics at a VAC).
Application Steps
- Complete the online application via the official UK government website
- Prepare required documents (valid passport, bank statement, flight and hotel booking, invitation letter if applicable)
- Book and attend a biometric appointment at a Visa Application Centre (outside Sudan, due to the Khartoum visa section closure)
- Await the decision and collect your passport

- Note: Student visa applications from Sudanese passport holders are not currently accepted
