Important Update: Kenya Is Now Visa-Free for Sudanese Passport Holders
Under Kenya's Citizenship and Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 2025, the Republic of Kenya has abolished the eVisa / ETA requirement for Sudanese passport holders. You can now travel to Kenya for tourism, visiting family, medical treatment, or business with just a valid passport — no electronic application and no visa fee required.
What Does a Sudanese Traveler to Kenya Need?
A valid passport (ideally with at least 6 months' validity from the date of travel).
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate — still mandatory for entry into Kenya, as Sudan is a yellow-fever endemic country.
A round-trip ticket or proof of onward travel before your permitted stay ends.
It's advisable to carry proof of accommodation (hotel booking or visit address) in case it's requested at entry.
Permitted Stay Duration
Sudanese passport holders may stay in Kenya for up to 60 days without needing any visa or prior electronic entry authorization.
