  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.

  • A clear color photo with a white background.

  • A clear copy of the passport data page.

  • A round-trip flight ticket.

  • A hotel booking or invitation letter from a party inside Uganda.

  • A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate — mandatory for entry into Uganda.

  • Payment of the eVisa fee through the system.

Uganda Visa Issuance Time

Permitted Stay Duration

Depends on the visa type, and is usually:

  • 30 days

  • 90 days

  • Or as determined by the Ugandan immigration authority

Important Notes

  • The eVisa must be printed and presented on arrival.

  • Fees are non-refundable if the application is rejected by the Ugandan authorities.

  • All documents must be clear and high-resolution to avoid rejection.

  • The Yellow Fever certificate is a mandatory requirement and entry is not possible without it.
