Please note that Sudan is designated by the World Health Organization as a yellow fever risk country. Accordingly, South Africa's Department of Health requires all travelers arriving from Sudan to present a valid International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever upon entry. Failure to present this certificate may result in refusal of entry or quarantine on arrival, regardless of holding a valid visa. We advise all our clients to get vaccinated well in advance of travel (typically at least 10 days before departure) and to keep the original certificate with them throughout the trip.
