This visa allows Sudanese passport holders to visit a first-degree relative (parent, spouse, or child) who resides in or is a citizen of Saudi Arabia. The visa is initiated by the host in Saudi Arabia, not by the visitor directly.

Current Situation for Applicants From Sudan
Since the Saudi Embassy in Khartoum suspended operations when the war broke out in April 2023, consular services have moved to a "Tashir" visa center in Port Sudan. This center has experienced repeated, unexplained suspensions throughout 2025, so continuous service cannot be guaranteed. In addition, Sudan — along with several other nationalities — has been subject to seasonal restrictions (often tied to the Hajj season) that sometimes limit visit visas to single-entry only, and have at times included full temporary suspension of issuance.
