Baeed Travel & Tourism

Poland Visa

Poland is an attractive European destination for study, work, and tourism, and a member of the Schengen Area. However, obtaining a Polish visa currently requires a different process than usual for Sudanese passport holders, and at Baeed we lay out the full picture and help you get through it smoothly.

Important Notice on Where to Apply

There is currently no operating Polish diplomatic or consular mission in Khartoum — the embassy closed due to the war in Sudan since 2023. This means applications cannot be submitted inside Sudan. Sudanese applicants must apply in person at the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, where biometrics and the personal interview are conducted exclusively.

What We Provide at Baeed

Given the complexity of this route, we offer a complete service including:

  • Preparing and organizing your visa file according to the Polish Consulate in Cairo's requirements
  • Assistance booking your interview and biometrics appointment in Cairo
  • Preparing and reviewing the required document checklist before submission
  • Advice on travel and accommodation arrangements in Egypt during the application period

Required Documents

  • Passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended return date
  • Completed and signed visa application form
  • Two recent passport-style photos meeting Schengen specifications
  • Travel medical insurance covering the Schengen area, minimum €30,000
  • Proof of flight reservation and itinerary
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
  • Proof of financial means (bank statement)
  • Proof of purpose of travel (work, study, tourism, family visit)

Processing Time

Once the complete file is submitted in Cairo, processing typically takes 10 to 15 business days. However, additional time must be factored in for securing a consulate appointment in Cairo and traveling there — we recommend starting the process at least one to one-and-a-half months before your planned travel date.

Let Baeed handle the details of this complex route for you, from coordinating with the Cairo consulate through to receiving your visa.
