Ireland Visa

An Ireland visa is required for all Sudanese passport holders traveling to Ireland for tourism, business, study, or family visits, as Ireland is outside the Schengen area and operates its own fully independent visa system. Importantly, there is no VFS Global center or Irish visa office inside Sudan. Applications must be submitted through the Honorary Consulate of Ireland in Sudan, which forwards the file to the Embassy of Ireland in Abu Dhabi (UAE) — the office that actually makes the final decision. Requirements

Processing Time

Because the decision is made by the Embassy of Ireland in Abu Dhabi rather than locally in Sudan, processing takes longer than visas handled entirely in-country:

• Approximately 4 to 8 weeks
  This includes the time to forward the file from the Honorary Consulate to Abu Dhabi, and may extend further if additional documents or an interview are requested.

• Single or multiple entry visa depending on approval

• Stay duration up to 90 days (subject to the discretion of Irish authorities)
