Baeed Travel & Tourism

Ghana Visa

Effective 25 May 2026, Ghana discontinued its visa-on-arrival system and launched a national electronic visa/Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) portal. As Sudan is a member state of the African Union, Sudanese passport holders must obtain a mandatory Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before travel, issued by the Ghanaian government completely free of charge for African Union nationals. At Baeed Travel & Tourism, we handle the preparation and follow-up of your ETA application on your behalf — from filling in your details and uploading documents to receiving approval — ensuring a smooth, error-free trip.

Benefits of Processing Your ETA Through Baeed

  • Accurate form completion and document upload to avoid rejection or delay.

  • A dedicated team following up your application until approval is issued.

  • Careful review of required documents before submission.

  • Free consultation on the entry requirements and steps for Ghana.

  • As of 25 May 2026, Ghana has fully discontinued visa-on-arrival; entry visas can no longer be obtained upon arrival at the airport.
  • As Sudan is an African Union member state, the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is mandatory, and the government fee for AU nationals is zero (free) — Baeed's fee covers preparation and follow-up service only.
  • Electronic approval must be obtained before travel; applications are not accepted at the point of entry.
  • Please apply well ahead of your travel date (at least 72-96 hours) to avoid delays.
  • Ensure all information matches your passport exactly.
  • The final decision to grant the travel authorization rests with the relevant authorities in Ghana.
